I want a pre plastic dash DS so badly! I’m not brave enough to want an SM, that’s a mechanical nightmare. I talked to the French car club people in SF and they say there are two mechanics that can work on a DS.

Once you’ve understood the basics, working on either a DS or an SM isn’t too bad... Yes, changing handbrake pads took me 12hours with a friend, but again, of you understand what’s going on and how it works, it’s not bad.
Also, the SM has a normal manual gearbox while all the cool DS have the hydromatic one which doesn’t make things any easier :)

The DS is the same... Spheres are just positioned differently. The main sphere is much more of a paint to remove in the DS...

Have you ever seen one of those 70's Toyota RV/cars? The one with the naked chick in the ad for it. I dunno if it ever went into production. RV-2, i think it was called

Wasn’t it only a prototype that never came out? I have never seen one and I doubt I’ll ever get ot see one really... BTW, if you haven’t seen it, cehck out my last article on the R33 GT-R V-spec LM on Jalopnik ;)

Honestly, I see those super regularly here... Not really that surprised anymore. I mean, after being stuck in the middle of a convoy of 11 Toyota 2000GT, that’s peanuts haha
